linkedOut: part 2

Based on the response to last week's blog, seems I'm not the only one opting to linkOut lately. While at least one Inner was miffed by my reluctance to tick the "accept" box, many of you relayed similar feelings of ambivalence – or outright hostility – towards the poking.

And you're not alone. A recent Zogby poll indicates the number of 25-34 year old MySpace and Facebook users dropping their accounts at twice the rate of older users. So I wonder: has the newness of social networking lost its shiny luster?
